Med LORs for SMP?

I'm still holding out hope for this application cycle though if nothing pans out by the end of December I'll be applying to SMPs. I have been out of touch with a few of my recommenders, though I still have their letters stored in Interfolio. These are private letters and I have no idea if they are written in a manner appropriate for SMP programs. I have no problem contacting two of the writers to revise their letters for SMP's but the third might be a bit tricky. As such, would it be possible to use my Med School letters for an SMP or is that generally frowned upon?

Don't do an SMP per the other thread. Total mistake, with your numbers.

There's absolutely no reason to get letters revised for an SMP. Good SMPs are going to want to see that you have a legitimate basis for going to med school, so your med school letters are what they want to see.
