Hi

One conference I know for students only is:
<a href="http://www2.utmb.edu/nsrf/" target="_blank">http://www2.utmb.edu/nsrf/</a>

As you probably know there are about a million medical conferences all over the place. I know of many medical students who have contributed to all sorts of conferences. If you have something useful or interesting to say then it doesn't matter if you are a student.

A good list of medical conferences is:
<a href="http://dir.yahoo.com/Health/Medicine/Conferences/" target="_blank">http://dir.yahoo.com/Health/Medicine/Conferences/</a>

Okay, I guess I too am trying to revive this thread.

Does ANYONE know of any good conferences where med students are welcome to attend?:eyebrow:

American Academy of Family Practice Annual Assembly and American College of Physicians Annual Meetings both welcome med students. They are cheap to attend. One can potentially get funds for travel/hotel expenses from one's school. They both have special events and courses specifically for med students. ACP hosts the annual International Doctor's Dilemma (like Jeopardy for IM residents) championship which is great fun to attend.

Coming up: ACP 4/22-24/2010 Toronto, and AAFP 9/29-10/2/2010 in Denver.

I tried to find links to post, but the meetings are so far off there's not much available.

 Where aren't med students welcome? If you wanna pay the registration fee, you'll get into just about any conference.

The question of which one to attend depends on your particular interests.

Thank you Catalystik! I too have been trying to find some with special programs for med students but have been somewhat unsuccessful. Thanks for the info :)
