medicare reimbursement

does anyone one know where i can find information about current or recent medicare reimbursements for any or all ophthalmic procedures, office visits, etc?
 
Don't ask. It's low. You will get discouraged and want to quit medical school and go into law.

Law school doesn't require a residency, just 3 years of schooling. You could be suing or working for a big firm while your classmates are still in residency.

You 'could' work for a big firm. Lawyer starting salaries drop to near or below resident salaries if you don't graduate from a top 10 law school. 😉

Reimbursements are decreasing, but still good enough so that ophthalmologists make good incomes.

The total geographically adjusted RVUs for the two procedures in the two regions are shown in the bottom row of the table. For cataract extraction, the totals are 22.28 in San Francisco and 16.85 in Kentucky. For pars plana vitrectomy, the totals are 26.13 in San Francisco and 19.73 in Kentucky.
