Don't know if this is new, but our program administrator just passed it along. Its a link to podcasts sponsored by the AAMC with physicians and physician scientists discussing commonly asked questions like "What Is the Landscape Like for People with an M.D. Who Choose a Research Career?" and "How Does a Joint M.D./Ph.D. Degree Combine the Best of Science and Medicine?" It's part of what I believe is a new AAMC website:

Some MD-PhD data can also be found here, although after a quick glance I don't see anything earth-shattering:

The podcasts should be useful for students thinking about the MD-PhD, haven't listened to them, please let me know if they're useful. Is the Keystone meeting going on right now, is that why we're getting new stuff?

Edit: Found one more link. A quick summary of funding sources available to MD/PhD students, separated out by whether you're on an MSTP grant or not. Should be useful:

The podcasts seem to be aimed at URM recruitment to the field.

Kerry O'Banion is the man.
