Merit Scholarships at Loma Linda?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any information about merit scholarships for regular M.D. students at this school. Do they even exist?

They might, but I'd guess they're only for SDA and rather involved SDA at that.

I called the financial aid office, and they said they don't give any merit scholarships, and they don't have any scholarships just for Adventists. Everything is need based.

There are scholarships given to Adventists only, but those are external scholarships, I believe.

Anyone else have more information about this? I'm looking for ways to fund my med school education because I know that I will receive zero need-based aid. Middle class people are toast in this process.
