My point I was trying to make earlier is the CCP budget is overestimated. Unless you live an extravagant lifestyle, there is no need to spend 50K+ a year. So far, I've loaned around 35-40K each year, and have been fine living in the dorms. Expenses for books aren't as expensive as they appear since we don't really use textbooks here. Notes/packets are either provided to us or offered at the bookstore for cheaper prices since they're readers. In the budget, the school used their health insurance prices, which is way way way WAY more expensive than what most other companies are offering ($700+/quarter...ridiculous!).
I have relatives here in Chicago (I'm from out-of-state) but declined staying with them for the freedom, convenience, and social life

We have the rest of our lives to work, why not enjoy what time you have exploring a new city and meeting new people during what little time you have as students?
