Military Doc Salary

Just wondering if anyone would mind sharing their experience with pay in the military. I'm prior service so I understand somewhat of what I'm getting into with being a mil physician, but the pay is cryptic as an outsider shooting for flight surgeon.

Outside of base + BAH + BAS, what bonuses are there? I've looked on DFAS (below) but their chart is less than clear regarding the difference between specialty pay vs retention incentive. Any insights and anecdotes would be appreciated.
