Good luck to all!
I hate this time of year!!!I've been really back and forth on whether I should apply OOS. The tuition just seems ridiculous and the thought of spending $1000 a month for the next 30 years just on tuition seems really daunting. AND I'm running out of time to decide...I hate this time of year!!!
But seriously, the OOS tuition is probably the biggest thing holding me back- I mean, that's like taking on another mortgage! But I want to be a vet so bad <---> major dilemma! I do feel my best chances are here though, so I'm thinking MN will be my only application again this year. With last years application, I was waitlisted and came pretty close to getting in, so with a slightly better application this year hopefully it will get me in! I'm not looking forward to interviewing again though...
Im applying as an IS. Hope it works out.
and hopefully my last!!

Congratulations bordercollies! Hopefully I'll see you on your interview weekend -- I'm a student at MN now, and will be helping out with tours/student panels.
Good luck to everyone else!![]()
For those of you who got interview letters as well, I have a question about the subjective clause. Does this mean that from this point on they're pretty much disregarding grades and scores and the final decision will be made solely on subjective interview results and experiences, recommendations, etc.?
Thanks!! I am sooo excited!! So there are tours planned throughout the day then?? I got an email today telling me about my interview times. Mine is on Feb 2nd!!! It is coming so fast!!! 🙂
Rejected. OOS on the east coast, they sent it to my mailing address. But congratulations to everyone who got an interview!! I can't believe they had over 1,000 applicants this year.
I'm sorry Bordercollies, I definitely "lied" to you! For some reason, I was thinking you were out of state, hence why I made the comment about possibly seeing you for your tour. We do give tours during the out of state interviews (which are generally done on/near the weekend), but we (the students) do not generally give tours for in state applicants. That said, if you want a tour of the school, I'm sure you can call ahead of time and ask if that would be possible. If they say they can't do that (I really don't think they'll say that, though), feel free to PM me and we can meet up for an "unofficial" tour if you like. 🙂
I'm sorry for the confusion, but good luck at your interview!!!!! And congratulations to everyone else receiving their interview offers! 🙂
