Misdemeanors

I was just curious to know what kinds of misdemeanor would prevent somebody from being admitted to a med school...DUI? hit and run? indecent exposure? harrasment? thief? Is there time span as to how long it will count? Most of the schools will ask you to explain them if you had any. How much details are they expecting? Thanks guys. I appreciate any insights with regard to this matter...

I was asked about misdemeanors on about 50% of my secondaries. The others asked about drug convictions or felonies.
I have a misdemeanor conviction. My advice is be honest, but only state things matter-of-factly if you are asked to describe what happened. Don't go into flowery phrases about how you have reformed. By the way, I was never asked on an interview about it.
