We are at the end game here. The hiding things at this point does not help the villagers; it only hurts them. Early in the game, yes best to keep things secret but towards the end when we are looking for mostly converts or just a wolf or two, no. It is better for information to be out and chances are that the wolves already know it as well by this point of the game.

This x1000. At this point you just need to come out with how you got that information.

I'd be very surprised if the wolves knew this.

And Dwin (haven't figured out multiquote) for future reference nobody is lying. Including wldlf (at least on this issue).

Dwindlin said:
Problem is someone is lying. You claim no role, but knew someone was going to be blocked. Outside of linked roles, I'm the only one who can PM out of a group. So, as DVM has pointed out it had to come from one of three people.

WS said they heard it from you. wld claims to know feck-all. Doubt TRH was blocking herself and going on about it.

Since we are in the end game I will give my information.

I am Rudy. I can protect someone every night cycle. I protected DVMD on night 1, I protected Devyn once cause wth, and I have protected myself because no one has been truly communicating with me.

My protection had not been needed till two nights ago. I was attacked Night 8 (?) and I blocked it. I was attacked AGAIN this past night cycle and I failed. I cannot PM for a day and night cycle and I cannot vote.

Just so y'all know when I show up as a villager, I do trust WS. I haven't had enough contact with other people to know them. And the info I do have serves no purpose other than to save me from lynch.

I don't need to have special powers to RECEIVE messages from outside the group. Just sayin'.

Then you're linked. With whom? Because I didn't tell you TRH was getting blocked, and outside of me, only linked roles can communicate outside of groups.

Not that it would make sense for Gary to be linked, considering he was minor character who was killed off the first damn episode. . .

And in case someone brings up the anonymous message I received about Escalla that was bull****, I just didn't want to implicate anyone.

This x1,000....

You have to be linked to someone to communicate outside the group or it has to be a part of your role. And I can't figure out at all who would be linked with Gary.

Which would help the villagers if you are indeed a villager, so you not revealing it just makes me think that you have something to hide for some reason.

Well obviously I'm not going to save myself with 5 minutes left before the deadline. So I was just trying to info dump while I can still post.

Unofficial tally:

Tropictuco: 6- swings, DVMD. Dwin, Jam, Lupin, devyn
Devyn: 1- WS
Wld: 2- kaydubs, tropictuco

I am at work.

Jesus effin' Christ! Way to go DVMD. Revealing everything at endgame is NOT always the best decision.

I can block. You dunderheads. Yes, I started the game with no role. I was then upgraded. I am still Sally. I am still a villager. But it was in my game mechanic to upgrade at some point.

Feck you DVMD for making me reveal that and for getting Tropic lynched.

Yes, it is completely my fault that you lied at the beginning, that tropic did not try to save herself and that she got lynched because you guys are idiots and can't post relevant information. Completely my fault... 🙄

By the way, are you EVER able to post without being a jerk and cursing others out? You wonder why people don't like playing with you, that is why.

DVM wasn't the only one not trusting/leading that. And no, hiding at this point is worthless. Yes, a couple more important villagers may die, but in the end it speeds the hunt for the final wolves and in the end villager win which is what matters (if you are a villager).

And I'm not sold on blocking anyways, unless you absolutely know your blocking a wolf, it can often harm villager efforts.

To further the point. If tropic had just flat come out with WS can block. Guess what, yeah WS may become a target, but we get a shot at unlynching Tropic and perhaps getting another wolf...

I DIDN'T LIE! (caps so that you might actually see it this time)

What part of 'upgraded' do you not understand? I started the game with no role. Same as Tropic. N6 I got upgraded and got a role to block. I suspected TRH, so I blocked her N7 and told Tropic I was doing it.

You always think you have to know all the information. If something doesn't add up to you, it must mean that the other person/people were lieing and are wolves. Couldn't possibly be because you weren't meant to understand it/know about it.

It is not always in the villagers best interest to have everything out in the open, even in endgame. You should know this by now. Now, we've revealed who a blocker is AND who a protector is. Good job.

You're welcome for TRH. Next time, I'll just sit on my arse and not use my role, cuz that'll make the game fun and that's how we find out information. 🙄

I didn't say not to use your role. Simply giving my opinion that blockers, unless 100% sure, aren't my favorite, and frankly I don't find it all that troubling with they die.

Apparently I'm not alone. . .

If that's the case, then everyone just role reveal right now and tell us everything you've done so far this game, each night.

🙄

We are not AT endgame right now. Maybe tomorrow, if there are 2 wolves left. But right now, there are 10 players. This information should not have been forced out until tomorrow.

1. Obviously your role was NOT the same as GUH's due to the upgrade part, so yes you did lie in part.

2. I have a lot of information this game, that is right. I am trying to figure out the rest of it. What you do NOT know is that we ARE at endgame. With the information that I have and that has been discussed in PMs behind the scenes we are likely very close to a villager win and IF we play the game well by being open and discussing things then the villagers can pull a win rather quickly here but only IF people cooperate.

3. I have played many more games of this than you have. The most difficult game I have EVER played in was when ALL of the villagers revealed information early on and I was a wolf. I was literally left having to scramble to find a made up role and keep going. I have now played in a few games where information was revealed early and it is MUCH harder to be a wolf in those games than it is to be a villager. So yes, at the endgame which we are quite close to (whether you believe it or NOT), it IS in the villager interest to share information.

4. I did NOT ask for wld to reveal her role so you can NOT blame that on me. I was only curious as to how this blocking came about and I was not the only one curious about it. I had every right to post this curiosity in the thread and ask for discussion about it. It is NOT my fault that people can not figure out when it is or is not time to reveal information to assist the villager cause.

LIS and I argue, but our arguing is harmless. I get frustrated with him on occasion but I don't get angry and curse him out based on anger and rage, like you do. You will curse out anyone in these games, mods included. And then you always have an excuse like "I had a bad day/week/month/year." As if that makes it ok for you to curse people out and be mean.

Anger and rage? You don't know how I am feeling on this side of the computer. I am frustrated, yes. Angry and raging, no.

I did the bolded part TWICE in 12 months. Yeah, that's always. 🙄

Devyn and Nyanko curse at people all the time. Don't see you having a problem with that. There's always the excuse, "but that's just who they are". Hypocrisy, I smell thee.

1) I didn't know I was being upgraded. I was not told that part in the beginning. So, yes, I DID have the same role PM.

2) Endgame is when we are too close to a wolf win. Otherwise, if got 3 out of 4 wolves right away in the game, we could be at endgame on D6 with 20 people left. Which is not endgame.

3)Oh goody. We're pulling the "I have played more games than you" card.

4) You are poor at 'discussing' things, then. Flat out saying one of us lied. You *could* have simply asked me about when we were discussing things earlier this morning. I was online for another hour. You also said you weren't going to discuss in the thread, which was clearly a lie.

What's done is done. The wolves have vital information that they did not have before, villagers really haven't gained anything by this, except lynching one of themselves "because it's endgame". What I find funny, is if it had been any other two people, you all would have waited to "hear a defense or explanation".

I'm sorry, Tropic, that I was the one you were PMing with. 🙁

No, it was obvious from her posts before Night 7 was over as I was already slightly alluding to it before that night ended. Look back if you don't believe me. It was after she made that wonky post about how someone else could use dyachei's "claimed identity". I just wasn't going to jump all over it during the night round as it is pointless, that is why I waited until the day round to lynch her on it. I would have lynched her well before night was posted simply based on her posts previously in the game.

Anyway, moving on, time to see if we can get information for this night and get us a wolf for the next lynch.

Hey DVMD,

Why did you not ask Dwin to message me to get my end of the story in private, instead of on thread?

He had already sent a PM to someone else for this cycle. We talked about him PMing someone amongst you, mainly wld, but he had already picked someone else, by the time I was able to talk with him.

These lynches are at odd times, they start at 2AM my time and end at 6PM my time, but by the time I am up to communicate with anyone in the morning, everyone else is asleep and then I can only talk with people if they are not busy in the morning, which people tend to be.

When I was mayor it started as Night 1/Day 2, so I would assume it is the same for him. Which would mean he could pick someone new now. You will have to ask him if he will PM you, I am not in charge of who he PM's or what he does, that is up to him.
