can some one explain this?

IF THE GRAPH SHOWN BELOW REPRESENTS DNA CONTAINING NORMAL MIX OF BASES,IT CAN BE EXPECTED THAT THE GRAPH WILL SHIFT TO THE LEFT FOR DUPLEX DNA CONTAINING HIGH CONTENT OF

A)A+C
B)C+G
C)A+T
D)C+T
E)A+G A=ADENINE,C=CYTOSINE,G=GUANINE,T=THYMINE

Y AXIS=OPTICAL DENSITY
X AXIS=TEMP

E

/ D
/ B
A /
-------- C

I believe A+T is the weakest base pair thermodynamically, therefore, the curve will shift to the left and a molecule of DNA made from a majority of A+T will denature into 2 strands (increasing optical activity) at a lower temp than another piece of DNA (of equal length) with G+C's.
