I'm broke. I applied to five schools and that almost bankrupted me. Unfortunately i pay my own tuition and I want to apply to about 5 more schools. what does it take to get a waiver for these apps?

If you can afford to pay your own tuition I think it is unlikely that you qualify for a waiver. I couldn't afford this process either so I here you. I was fortunate enough to submit only one secondary (top choice) for the 6 schools I applied to and received an acceptance before I filled out the others. I have no idea how I could have managed the rest.

Haha I didn't think i'd get one. I pay over 1300 a month in tuition and 600 for car and insurance. I need to find a rich businessman to have mercy on me and pay for it lol.

I'm not sure what to do about the AACOMAS costs, but you might be able to sidestep secondary app fees by writing heartfelt letters to the deans of the other schools explaining your situation and why you want to go there. Before you scoff, I've heard of several students forging agreements with hospitals to pay for ALL of their medical school in exchange for working there as a doctor. So it seems that problems can be worked out on an individual basis and exceptions can be made. Hope it works out.

Just FYI, you cannot get a waiver after you've already submitted your AACOMAS.
