hi all,
I was speaking with the director of my school's EM residency program and he mentioned that a handful of his residents have a chunk of their loans paid off by the end of residency by picking up extra ED shifts at other area hospitals. Anyone out there heard or had experience with this? If so, what is the pay like and how does it effect your ability to function during your regular shifts?
