So my university has a new programme where they give 5 students the opportunity to help with a specific procedure in the hospital. There are 5 students chosen. I really, really wanted to apply but I don't know what to write in my motivation letter other than the fact that I genuinely just want to learn more about the clinical side of things and help out. I don't have any experience with anything surgery related either. I fear that if I don't have anything special or extra-ordinary to say that I might as well not apply.
