I am an Indian national, doing residency in USA in internal medicine and I will be eligible for ABMI. I was thinking to move to AUS for further training..specialist.
My questions are
1) once I finish my board exams in USA, will I be re:cool:cognised as specialist in general internal medicine? Will there be any jobs where I can work as internist..?
2). I was told from international medical recruitment agent that , I will be doing supervised job for 12 months, until then I will be holding limited registration, after one year of training I will be eligible for full medical registration. My question is, is that job as an intern?? I will be having 3 years of USA experience and I already have 4 years of UK experience...Is there anyway that I can be eligible for full registration with out that supervised training for 12 months.
3) what are my options of getting into advanced training in Australia after my residency in US? Is that possible.? Is there any specific medical deaneries who recruit for specialist training??? If I go through recruitment agencies will they able to provide me into accredited specialist training ????
