Hello there!
I recently graduated with an MPH in epidemiology and find the job prospects awful. I am applying like crazy but find my research experience is difficult to translate to more real-world settings. This is likely a "me" problem as I am a fresh, young professional in the field and have spent 10 years at one job simply because it paid the bills.
So, in the mean time, I have enrolled in my local community college to take care of some prerequisite courses so I can apply to the accelerated BSN program at a university here in about a year.
I was wondering what the prospects are for BSN's with MPH's? Anyone have experience having both of these degrees and applying to jobs? I feel like this will give me better mobility AND pay in the long run although I will say I feel almost like a complete failure going back to school at 31 years old when I have been in school for 10+ years.
Thank you for any suggestions!
