Hi I'm a foreign trained dentist. Does anyone know about the prospects of MPH (possibly in a core which doesn't involve much of statistics and maths ..health policy or environmental health)?

1. Are scholarships available? Is the course interesting? Any inside experiences from people who have done the course.

2. I understand job prospects will be less unless we do a Phd. But will it help improving our profile for applying to International dentist programs? (after we have passed nbde part 1 and part 2)

Also how can we use our MPH degree as clinical dentists in future? That is dental academics.

Thank you

Or go to ceph.org
It looks like U Mich and UMDNJ are the only (accredited) options for dental public health . I suggest you look around all of the degree options and see what interests you.

@ twizzler - thanks!! @ one day yes you're right only these 2 programs are accredited.

Thanks guys. Any dentists here who did MPH in other concentrations?
