I applied for a GA position at my school (ETSU) in the epi/biostats department.
Originally I was emailed because my "name was provided as someone who may be a good candidate", and when I saw what the job entailed, I jumped at the chance to apply (because it involves some of the things I'm interested in). It's working with data from the TN Stroke Registry.
Anyway.
I'm scheduled for a phone interview that's supposed to take 30-minutes (tops, I guess?) on Thursday. They arranged either phone or in-person interviews because they knew some people wouldn't be moving into the city soon enough to get an in-person interview.
I've been preparing with questions they might ask, and preparing some of my own questions as well. But I really don't know what to expect from it.
Have any of you had a similar experience or have any advice?
