I am a DO/MPH candidate for 2008. I am a third year medical student and doing rotations while taking taking my last course towards my MPH degree. Beginning in August I will be a candidate for the MPH practicum. the MPH program at my school is somewhat new so they have left the requirements for the practicum quite broad as long as certain criteria are met. My dilemna is as a dual degree person, I will be doing rotations, interviewing, meeting school requirements for the DO degree and will not be in one spot for more than a month or two. So I will need to combine my rotation and practicum somehow. Ideally, it would be nice to do something international. Because I am one of the first from my medical school to do the dual degree in four years, there really are not examples of what previous students have done. Anyway, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
