MSAR or Startclass

Not even close MSAR is worth the money. Startclass is a nice idea but right now lacks the data required to make a comprehensive school list. You need to know where you are 10%-90% for schools, what programs are offered, what part of your application (Research, volunteering) is catered to the school.

Bite the $25 and get the yearly subscription for MSAR. Apply once and get it over with. Reapplying costs a lot more.

The MSAR should be considered the required textbook for the course on applying to medical school, a course which only 40% of the people pass. It is at most 0.0135% of the cost of medical school (assuming $200K total). BTW, the AMCAS Instruction Manual, which is a free download, should be considered the study guide for the first exam in the course.
Honestly people should buy a copy their freshman year of college to give them an idea. People should also read all the aamc documents about the process etc.
