Mt. Sinai Interview!!!!!

Well, as you can probably guess from the subject line, I just received an email today inviting me to interview at Mt. Sinai! I am absolutely psyched. I'm a little perplexed, too, because I don't even have my August MCATs yet...I guess they like me anyway! Anyway, the interview is on November 8, so maybe I'll see some of you there.

Sure, no problem. I graduated with a 3.82 from UMass but was a transfer there and had a crummy freshman year and had a cum of 3.70. My MCATs are 7, 10, R, 10. My 7 is the downfall and the reason why I retook the MCAT in August. But...the kicker is...this is my third time applying to medical school. I guess persistence pays.

I wish that woman who was "in charge" of my app. at Mt. Sinai returns from her God-damned vacation! I couldn't believe what i heard when they told me to call back Monday cuz she was on holiday!

Resident Alien - at least she doesn't hate you. I've called quite a few times, and the person in charge seemed rather upset that she had to call AMCAS for me to find out why the app wasn't sent. I was told very huffily that my app is not verified so Absolutely nothing can be done (even though they have a copy of my amcas sent in by me - I even work at Mount Sinai). Alas!

Wow...im with you E01, being there and feeling helpless...... 🙁
I'd much rather have them tell me over the phone that they aren't considering me than give seemingly incredible answers.

My application hasn't been verified yet. I have the Xs, but I'm not quite done with the process yet. I guess they went ahead with my application before verification. Nice, huh? 🙂
