Multiple Pre-II Hold Emails

Hi all,

I've been at pre-II hold for one of my medical schools. I was initially told about this in early October. Since then, I have received 4 of the same emails indicating that I am on pre-II hold.

Is this normal? Does it indicate that I am being reviewed and still placed back on hold? Or, is it potentially a glitch in the system, and would you recommend that I call the admissions office to confirm my status?

I wouldnt email. It's not going to change the outcome and there is a non-zero chance that you come off negatively to whomever is reading the email.

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.

Are you working on your Plan B?

Sorry, Goro - I think my initial email was kind of vague. The email has come from one school only but just four times indicating pre-II hold status - that is why I was confused as to if my app is getting reviewed again and again or if this is simply a glitch in their system. I've had three other IIs, waiting to hear back from them and elsewhere.
