Hi everyone,
I'm currently writing a second round of update letters for some of my schools that I'm waiting to hear back (they're all fairly receptive to updates). The first time around, I wrote an update letter+letter of interest, explaining why I would be a good fit for their school.
This time around, I really want to re-state my continued interest in these schools and explain again why I am a good fit. Is this fine? If so, how should I explain "why X school" (would it be OK to repeat information from the first time I explained "why X school" or should I use new information to answer that)? Or, is this a totally bad idea?
And before anyone says anything, yes, I know that update letters usually don't make a difference. But I have a lot of free time, so I might as well send them since I have nothing to lose.
