Okay, long story short, this has been the summer from HELL, and anything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I was supposed to take my DAT July08th, but ended up taking it yesterday; anyways, my application was mailed out 7/12/13, and I faxed my unofficial scores to the schools that would take unofficial reports.

Stats:

3.85 Overall GPA
3.75 Science GPA
21 AA
21 TS
18 PAT

Schools:
University of Michigan
University of Detroit Mercy
UNC Chapel Hill
Case Western

The only caveat- I will not be getting my bachelor's degree, I am applying as a 3-year applicant...not sure how that's going to affect my status in the application pool. Please advise!

Your scores and GPA are great, schools will not look at your application much till 12-14 days from now when they receive your DAT scores. I'm sorta in the same boat - my official scores weren't in till late on 8/1, even though my application was mailed 7/12 - haven't heard anything yet (no rejections or invites either one).

You're applying to pretty few schools, but I guess you shouldn't be too concerned as far as stats go. What do you mean by you, "will not be getting my bachelor's degree?" Do you mean you're not getting one at all, or that you just completed your junior year, will be getting it at the end of your senior year? Or that you're going to be a junior? I'm not sure what you meant by that. Most traditional applicants do not have their bachelor's degree yet.

I agree with NMC. Most applicants do not have their bachelor's yet, but will by the end of this year's classes. If you mean that you will not get your degree at all, it will make getting an acceptance significantly more difficult. Why not get a degree?

Liz our stats are pretty much equal. Looks like we didn't apply to any of the same schools though. Let me know how things work out as I just submitted everything a few weeks ago and it was verified yesterday.

Im a three year applicant as well and have worse stats and I already have a interview. If you want a chance this year then apply to a lot more schools. I applied to 13.

I'm in a 7 year program right now, but my family is moving 1200 miles away and I really would like to be near them. If I were to get in this year, I would not be entering dschool with a bachelors degree.

i would apply to more schools to increase chances. But if you get your bachelors you would be a stornger applicant
