For the past 3 years I have been reading ppl's posts asking, "do I have a chance to get in?" and the time has now come for me to ask the same questions. Below are my stats, let me know what you think.

MCAT: 22 (VR 9, BS 6, PS 7)
B1 - A
B2 - A
C1 - B
C2 - A
P1 - A
P2 - A
O1- C
O2 - B
Stat - A

undergrad..reputable? cum gpa/ science? EC's?..for someone thats read 3 years worth of what are my chances thread..you provide such a little amount of info..for anyone to say anything..except to retake the mcat..

The only gaurantee that you don't have a chance is if you don't apply.

Some people with great GPAs don't get in while those with lower averages do. There are too many variables. JUST APPLY!

Don't even bother. With those grades you might as well enroll in Ross or some other 3rd world country medical school.

J/K ! APPLY!

One "C" is not going to hurt you. Your 22 may not even hurt you. I know of many people who have received acceptances with 18-22 on the MCAT; however, without knowing more about your application, it is a tough call. I agree, without applying, you are destined to not get in. Apply, and see how it goes. Consider the rest of your application and whether you should take the MCAT or not. :luck:

At what schools did these people get accepted to? And what year? I am in a similar situation.

Hey Timbo;

Just to make you feel better: I got a 22 on my MCATs (9 Verbal, 7 Bio, 6 Physical sciences). I sent my applications out in October and I was offered interviews at LECOM-ERIE, VCOM, DMU, WVSOM, Kansas City and PCOM. I had to turn down Kansas City, but I’ve been to all the rest except PCOM. I say, stick in there. A physician is far more then the sum of a few scores, no matter how good or bad. Maybe you and I are not good at taking standardized tests, but hell, that doesn't mean I am not going to show the same level of compassion and empathy as someone who scored higher! This is the attitude that you have to bring out at the interview. Just have faith, we are all on this path together, your "stats" mean only as much as you can promote them. Always remember that…

Good Luck,

Jamers
