hey guys what are my chances..

AA:20 TS:19 PAT:19

GPA overall is around a 3.3 and Science GPA is 3.26

Did a year of Microbiology research, EMT, joined various pre-dental organizations at my school, intl fraternity, inducted into a honor society, did 100+hours of GD and ortho shadowing , worked at a dental office, have 6 letters of rec and a committee letter.

Applied to NYU, UMDNJ, UNLV, VCU, Tufts, BU, Western, Pacific, ASDOH, MWU( az and Il), Pitt,UMD...

# of Schools = 13...The question remains whether you picked the right ones 🙄

All I am trying to say is that despite the info given it is difficult to determine what your chances are. It depends on if you get interviews and how well you perform at your interviews.

I would say you have a 7.2/10 chance of getting an interview. After that it is up to you 😉 Take it for what it is worth (pretty much little to nothing).

when did you apply? did you get any interviews yet? if you just applied now, your chances are smile but not 100% cooked. meanwhile if you've applied in june and have yet to hear back that might be a problem.

thats not true, people get interviews at indiana.

I still think you have a decent shot... just maybe look for post dec interviews.

However, if i were you i would also start thinking about doing a post bac or a 1 year masters. Your DAT is good, but the GPA could use some help.

its your low oGPA and sGPA, if you dont hear back, do a masters for a 1 yr and boost ur gpa and reapply. your DAT score is fine,

My GPA is very similar to you haha.. I have slightly better DAT but I took multiple times. I am trying to boost my GPA in this Fall and will send transcript to impress dental school after dec. I think taking master is good choice as well. I have applied with 3.2 sGPA but very low chance to get an interview. I have only got one interview last year but could not even get in. It is really competitive to even get an interview now so just bear that in mind. If you get an interview, prob get one next year. Just do your best on your undergrat school work until you get acceptance.
