I know this is a weird question, but I'm getting a dog and want to name it with a drug name. Names that flow. Any suggestions?? This should be interesting lol

Cipro

edit: Xiidra

Stick with something that is quick and easy to say, rolls off the tongue... 2 syllables at most imo.

ximelagatran - it was supposed to be the latest greatest thing, then..... it **** the bed

I was thinking maybe Claritin if it's a girl

Soma or Roxi if its a girl. Orbactiv or Lasix for a boy?

Depends on pups personality but from my past experiences with pets I think all of the following are great.. Linzess, Bentyl, Xanax, Rimadyl, acepromazine (ACE), Reese (the otc dewormer). Or sklice.

I named my dog benzo after benzodiazepines...people that don't know what benzodiazepines are think its a interesting/weird name but people in healthcare that make the connection get a kick out of it. My dog is a basset hound and pretty chill so the name is fitting

How about some drugs that aren't on the market any more, or are so rarely used, they may as well not be?

Ansolysen
Persantine/dipyridamole (dispensed by the thousands when I graduated)
Meterox
Ser-Ap-Es (aka H-H-R, which is now a car model)
Frenquel
Mexiletine
Butazolidin (maybe give this name to your horse?)
Manoplax

and of course

DARVON!

Vioxx?

whatever

Fetchtor (derived from Flector patches) for a boy

This thread has really gone to the dogs

I can always tell who's on Medicaid based on the kid's name.
