Hello Everyone!

My name is HMC McKenna and I am a Medical Programs Recruiter with Navy Medicine located in Hampton Roads, Virginia. I wanted to post here to hopefully spread some great information and answer any questions regarding the various programs we offer both students and working professionals post grad. Feel to contact me here with any questions or reach out to me via my contact information at the bottom of this thread.

PRE MED/DENTAL STUDENTS:

-Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) and Health Services Collegiate Program (HSCP). HPSP is a FULL RIDE scholarship through either Medical or Dental School for students applying to med/den school or students in their 1st or 2nd years. HSCP is a collegiate program that DOES NOT pay for tuition but pays students as a an active duty sailor with full pay and benefits. This is a great option if you have a family or are prior military service utilizing the GI Bill for school.

Additionally, both of these programs are available for the following specialties for students:
- Physician Assistant
- Environmental Health
-Industrial Hygiene
-Clinical Psychology
-Optometry
-Podiatry
-Health Care Administration
-Pharmacy

Upon graduating from these programs, students are given a commission into the US Navy as a Commissioned Naval Officer.

We also have job openings for practicing Physicians, Dentists and Nurse across multiple specialties.

Let me know if you have any questions at all!
