hello everyone
i'm having a bit of a problem trying to wrap my head around the application process.
as an international student i have to submit the following:

1. the online electronic application (which everyone does, no problemo there)
2. the proof of eligibility which is signed on paper by my dean (okkaay)
3. my ece report (thats fine too)

for my application to be complete and processed i need to send in all 3 things. but the problem arises when all three dont arrive in a single package ie. my electronic application is via the internet, my proof of eligibilty via snail mail, and my ece report from the ece when they send it.

my question is, is it alright for the jcnde to recieve my documents like that? will they collect all the bits and pieces and put it together? it seems rather troublesome for them to do that, and not very efficient either.. what if they misplace somoething, or dont manage to get my things together?

is there an order i should send in my documents? or is there a better way to do things? i dont really want to send in a paper application because apparently i wont get confirmation of whether or not my application has been approved.

thanks so much for your time guys 🙂

You don't have to worry about that. To apply for NBDE, I don't think you have to send any letter from your dean. An application and ECE report should serve the purpose. You will get a confirmation email and also a snail mail once your application is processed.

heya,
i wish i was mistaken but i even downloaded the form which has to signed by my dean.. hence the dilemma

and even if i dont have to send that in, is it ok if my application and ece report (which the ece people send) arrive at different times? will they consolidate it and put it together to process it?

Thats the way it works. dont worry.

coolio, thanks bombaybds
you handed in all three things right? ie. ece report, electronic application and dean;s signed eligibility thingy?

I already had my state licencure sent to ECE, so did not need the dean's eligibility letter. the ECE report mentioned that Im a dentist in my home country.
You will need the Dean's eligibility letter if you are still a student/intern and have not yet finished dental school in your home country.

aaaaAAHHHH!!! oookkaay! 🙂 🙂 great! now i get it 😀 well, i am currently an intern but i shall be done with uni by the time i apply.. so i dont need it i guess.. thanks so much bombaybds!

hahaha, actually its 'sistah'! 😉
one more thing, bombaybds, i was wondering about the letters of recommendation..
is it okay if i collect them from my staff now.. like get them to write their thing on regular paper (no specific form or anything) and sign it?
or in the application form will there be special forms and envelopes for the letters of recommendation which have to be sealed and all?
coz if thats the case its gonna be a bit of a pain getting them to write them later on.. can i just get them do it now?

Sure you can.
get it done on official college stationary. Look up individual uni websites for particulars of LORs. (some want it in a signed and sealed envelope).
