hi all,

i am planning to take part 1 nbde in march 2011...plz help me i have to start from a scratch..i have only dental decks..i really dont know wat to do how to start..wats GPA..Dentpin???i have none here to guide please help me guys..its tough i have a 1.2yr old kid at home fulltime..am graduated from india..2003 passed out...plz i again request guide me clearly

n GPA-Grade point average-its the american system of grading on a scale of 4....ur percentage is converted into GPA.

Dental decks is where you need to start. It is a good outline of all the information they might test you on. It gives you a feel for what you need to know. After you study the decks, you should get a hold of as many release exams from the past. I feel this is most important. Keep going over as many questions as possible. And obviously reference textbooks for concepts that you do not understand.

The way I study is I just do all the released exams out there, and wikipedia anything I don't know. The questions are so specific and random that you just have to memorize what they want you to know. It doesn't necessarily test how well you understand concept material.

DENTPIN is the ID# that the ADA testing service assigns you. It's simple, just go to the ada website and register for it.
