Hi Dr. Kapil
I am Egyptian you know forigner dental student too. and i am joining 2nd year next month I think as you... I was very interested to know if it's possible to apply for the ex. after 2nd year too... I am sure now it's possible but there are things you should have
You have to take a certificate singned by 2 persons "The dean and other one in the stuff" to prove that you have taken all the courses taken at the NDBE 1 & the TOEFL sure
I admit I didn't make this certificate yet I am waiting till the year begins as there is a friend working in the college and did the 1st ex,. who will help me
I suggest you to check the www.ECC.org it's the format you need
I also suggest you to search for asome one in your country who did the ex. this will be very helpful
I am sorry for not giving you the best info. but this all i know for now may be by next month I will be aware of all details..

Kapil & Dina,

As per my information you can give NBDE Part1 only after you have completed your dental school and internship because you apply to ADA to register for exam they need you to get all your credentials evaluated from ECE. ECE will only write that you have completed four years of dental school when do that . For more info there website is www.ece.org or give them a call.

Molar, I am very sure it can be taken after the 2nd year

About what u mentioned of the ECE I didn't evaluate it yet
