NDB Part-2

Has anyone taken part-2 recently?

I am talking mine in 10days time, any inputs from recent test takers is appreciated.

Thank you

I just took mine last weekend. I just wanted to say that the exam was not super difficult, but there were detailed questions in basic science. You should also remember the syndromes related to dental anomalies in patho section. The case-based questions were surprisingly easy, at least for me, and I thought that would be the case for everyone else as well.

The most important thing though is making sure you get enough rest the day before the exam. The exam is a long and exhausting process, especially on the first day. I had to drink two cups of coffee during the day and I felt my head was not that clear. I'd have done better if I had had enough sleep the day before. Good luck!

PS: For those who are curious, don't PM me if I remember any questions though. All I could say was already written above.

There were some repeated questions from the old exams from 91 and 93, but not the majority of the test. I'd say I felt like the questions were not too hard, but I did make some mistakes because I studied too much and when it came to some details, I just couldn't remember the answer. That's why I suggest getting enough rest is very important to help clear your head and help you focused more on the exam day. You'll know the answers. They are all in the materials--decks, old exams, Mosby's, etc, but you need to be stress-free and very relaxed in order to do well. I didn't get enough sleep the day before and still regret making some mistakes on some easy questions that I knew I saw them before.

I cannot say I did well for the exam because I'm still waiting for the result, but just wanted to share the experience.

Thank you Blackandwhite for replying to my post.

No problem. I understand how stressful it is to study for several months or longer and have no idea where the exam will focus on or how well you'll do--especially when you studied on your own just like me. But don't stress out too much. After all you have studied, and all the materials are in your head. Just relax, trust your common sense, and do your best. Pay attention to the wordings in the questions and answers as well. Good luck!
