I got my MCAT scores online last night, and I was shocked at how disproportionate my numbers were!
The good news is that I was all ready mentally preparing myself to take it in August, so I am ready for that! Here is my breakdown :

9BS, 8VR, and Writing Sample Q :)
Here is the <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" /> part :
6PS.
I cant believe that I did THE WORST on what I felt was the most straightforward section. I spent 3 months living at Kaplan that is why I am bummed at that PS score. Any feedback from you guys would be great. Thanks.

Well, it appears that your physical science score wasn't that great, but you do have to remember that D.O. schools look at the whole person upon admissions, too. My MCAT scores were not necessarily what I would consider top of the class, and I got accepted to three schools this year, early on. I think the difference with me was that I really built myself up in the other areas that schools look at, such as volunteering, leadership, and medical experience. My advice is take it again, and try to increase your PS score.

Well it looks like you got your test taking skills down with your grades in the other sections. I agree with you and the above post, retake the MCAT this August and still send in your application to AACOMAS. At least now you'd know how to take the test and what to expect, so I'm pretty sure that you'd do fine. :)

Keep in mind medical schools look at more than just your MCAT score. They factor in GPA, science GPA, volunteer experiences, life experiences, your interview, etc.

Take a realistic assessment of yourself and consider all your criteria before judging whether or not you'll be accepted. Don't base that decision solely on your MCAT score alone. Not that MCAT score isn't an important factor, but it's not the only factor.
