Hi all, I've been lurking for some time now and love the advice, I have a dilemma now that maybe some of you can help me. Sorry in advanced if I should of posted somewhere else or just searched.

Little bit of backround about me- I am 22 white male and a senior in his spring semester in Minnesota graduating this fall. I have a 3.91 GPA, 4.0. science GPA, 3 chairs and an E board position within my fraternity, research with a local hospital, probably 150 shadow hours and close to 1,000ish hours volunteering as an EMT and counting. I also created and am now coaching/directing a lacrosse program for the past 4 years. I've got definitely 1 solid LOR and 2 OK ones on the way. There's other things, but I feel like this is a good summery.

Here's the situation-
I am scheduled to take my first MCAT April 1st and last night I just had a panic attack over the pressure to get everything done between this, coaching, research, and my current classes. I currently have been taking practice MCATs every weekend for the past 5 and my last one I scored I got a 505 on NS #2. Hardly can review with everything going on, but I've been improving every test and notecarding what I got wrong after.

Mentally with my anxiety problems and chronic migraines, I want to reschedule my test deep into the summer where all I have is my job to do starting early in May. However I know the importance of applying early and if I were to go this route I'd submit my AMCAS in June and bank on doing well. However, I feel like taking my test deep into the summer would come with consequences of my AMCAS not being verified early enough.

I am looking for advice on around what date in the summer to take it, lightly grinding through to April (which I feel capable doing) and taking it, or whether to pull off and wait till next cycle. Anything is appreciated and thank you all. I think I'll be around here a lot more.

You can definitely move your MCAT to June and still be fine. I guess my question is how deep into the summer are you thinking of?
Thanks for the reply! Before starting my SD search, I thought about July 25ish or somewhere around there. But after reading up again about the application process, I found it not a good idea. I guess how late in June would you recommend?
