Hey so Im applying this cycle, my apps are already submitted to NYU, Boston, and Rutgers. I did well on the DAT except for QR, i tanked.

PAT: 19
RC:20
QR: 14
Bio: 22
Chem: 22
Orgo: 21
TS: 22
AA: 20

Im hoping schools look more at sciences than math but what should i do in terms for application?. I was hoping to apply to schools in the northeast.

call the schools and find out. I know a lot have cut off's at 16 or 17 for QR but since it is the least important section and your AA and TS are good maybe they could overlook it but definitely call. I had a similar situation last year with a 15 in QR and all the schools I called told me to re-take and now i got an 18 on it. I have heard of people getting in with a 15 QR but everything else was flawless on their application. hope this helps. good luck!

You got pretty good scores for other sections but 14 QR is hard to just ignore.
Even though QR not weighed as much as other sciences or PAT, the section is there for a purpose.

I agree with above. You should call every schools that you applied to and find out if they would accept that.
