Need advice with job search as a D4

I'm currently a D4 and have started looking for jobs. Ideally, my goal is to go out on my own and buy a practice within a year or 2 of being out of dental school. This process would be much easier if I can potentially find an associate position with transition to ownership. My question is, what is the best way to find those opportunities? TIA

Then go to all the dentist in that area that look older and just ask them. You can also send letters
