Yes, I know I felt like my list was way too top heavy. I've been told by many people not to even bother applying to GW, Georgetown, or BU due to the extremely high number of applications they receive. And I had Emory on my original list, but deleted it from reading threads about out of staters who had gotten II's and also had some sort of connection to the school or GA... and I have neither.

And thank you, this really helped! I'm looking into some of the schools you suggested now. 🙂

Re-edited my school list:
Columbia
Cornell
Hofstra
Einstein
Pittsburgh
Mayo
USC Keck

NYMC
SUNY Buffalo
Rochester
SUNY Upstate
SUNY Downstate
SUNY Stonybrook
Rosalind Franklin
EVMS
U Vermont
Quinnipiac/Netter
Temple
Jefferson/Sidney Kimmel
VCU

Does this look like a better list? Having P/F pre-clinical years is extremely important to me and schools such as U Miami (as well as some of the others Goro mentioned) don't have P/F. And Tulane's COA is way too much for me...in addition to being a low yield school.

I wanted to keep some reaches on the list so I chose to keep Columbia and Cornell. What do you guys think?
