Hello,

My apologies if this is in the wrong section. I was fortunate enough to be admitted into two programs: MS in Health Sciences (Pre-Professional/Medical track) at USF and also MS in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University for Fall 2015. As an undergrad studying Biomedical Sciences, I was wondering which program would best prepare and/or enable me to attend medical school the following year (both programs are 1-year).

Cheers.

I'm not familiar with the Barry University program, but I do know that the USF program aligns almost exactly with the first year of medical school. Since the purpose of these MP's is to show schools you can handle the rigor of medical coursework (often, in spite of a low uGPA), I'd say you can't go wrong with that.

Again, I'm not familiar with the program from Barry University, it could be very similar, but I know that USF students take almost the exact same first year courses as medical students.

I don't think you could go wrong with either, if one program appeals to you over the other.

Thank you for your input!
