hello all,
Im new here so apologize if im posting in the wrong place,
So i just took my DAT and i scored 19, Im ganna retake it for sure. but my question is, should I submit my aadsas application now to the schools that has a feb 1st dead line or just wait till next cycle?
DAT:19
Science GPA:3.7
cumulative GPA: 3.2
shadowing:410 hours
lots of volunteer and such
I know my credentials aren't the best, but is it worth a shot now at this point or wait till next cycle and apply with a better DAT score, or both?

Thank you! and best of luck to you all on this stressful period ><

You might not need to retake the DAT if you apply early next cycle.

I was in the same position as you last year, decided to wait.

Wait till june. Have letters and ps ready.

Just wait. You'll be lucky to get an acceptance this late in the game. It's not necessary to re-take the DAT if you apply early next cycle, BUT if you want to be a very competitive applicant and have a difficult choice to make on December 1st, I would probably suggest for you to re-take it.

But it's super late in the cycle in terms of submitting an application. Most people submitted their application 6-7 months ago.

thank you all for the feedback, i should have taken the DAT earlier >< Im kinda foreign to the system; so if i wanna get my application first thing next cycle, how do i make sure the gpa will be calculated and transcripts would be received. cause i've already sent them but from what i gather( and i could be wrong) unless i submit and pay the fee they don't process the transcripts?
So if i applied to one school this time just to have my application with transcripts attached, would that carry on to the next cycle and save me time?

Correct. They won't touch your application until you pay them.

Even if you got a 30 on the DAT, it'll still be difficult to get accepted this cycle.
