Hi zsy_lzy

Don't worry, you're not the only one finding it hard to conquer because me too. I just hate anatomic sciences with a vengeance 😀 . The damn thing always gets me....and it gets me good, too 🙄 . Anyway, you're right, Kaplan is very wordy, quite advanced and doesn't have too many pictures.....thus, a very boring book for anatomy. So you might want to get an anatomy book that is a little less wordy and more basic such as a coloring book or an anatomy book that has a lot of pictures (especially colourful ones) depicting the parts you're studying to help you understand and memorize them better. A lot of it is just rote memory work. Start with that, and once you're comfortable with the basics, you can go back to Kaplan and this time, I'm sure you'll be able to understand it better. I don't know of any good anatomy book with lots of pictures in it at the top of my head. You might want to go an university library and browse thru their anatomy section, or look up some of the anatomy books recommended by the ADA for part I in a library. I'm sure at least one of them is good for you. Good luck and don't give up. We all go thru the same thing. Your hard work will pay off. 😀

In my view, you should give yourself atleast the summer or 2 months as a full time student while preparing for part 1 before taking the exam. But again it differs from person to person.

i also have question: do i have to remember every word in the kaplan book?
it seems so difficult for me to memorize all of the material!!
i dont know which part should i put more effort on it.
i wonder how they get 90 or more than 90.
is there any clever method to review the material???
thanks a lot!!!! 🙂

i think if you want to get more than 90, you have to read through them again and agian, also not only decks or kaplan book, but also some textbooks, websites, exams, etc. make sure that you know all. so you should spend a loy of your time with them, read them at least 3 times. test yourself with the exams or on the websites.

i hope this helps!
