I recently graduated with my B.S. in Health Science. At the undergrad I was at Physiology was a separate class from Anatomy and I needed it for my major, so I took Physiology and it's lab. All the schools around me only offer it in "Anatomy & Physiology 1&2", including my undergrad starting this term. I found one "General Anatomy" course at a private school but it will cost around $4,000. I know Anatomy is not required but some schools require it and I need to boost my Science GPA. So should I take it online at UC Berkely or UNE?, take it at the private school(don't think its worth it), or forget it completely and focus on other classes? thanks

Yes, they do like it if you take a& p1, 2....but 4g's dude? Not worth it. If I were you I would try to find an general anatomy or even a& p course at a public 4 year university (*this is spring so U probably would have 2 take a&p 2 and talk 2 professor about waiving a&p1 credit if U haven't taken that already).

Again, it depends on what ur trying 2 do. If U wanna fulfill an anatomy requirement 4 a dental school. Then try 2 take it at a 4 year university. Don't spend 4gs though on private school. It's not THAT important.

If U just want 2 take it to make ur transcript a little bit more appealing 2 dental schools that DON'T require it? Then just take it at ur nearest community college. something is better than nothing.

what about the online course? most likely I will be going to a school that does not require it anyway.

Take the online course. although it might not "weigh/count"as much as the 4 year college course but whatever, at least you will be familiar with the material once you get into dental school.

I'd go for the online course. For sure.

The dean of admissions for my top choice dental school actually told us that even if we do get accepted, to go to a community college and take biochemistry, or anatomy or microbiology just so you have some foundation in it.

Online credits are usually not accepted by most schools, so I'd def double check witht the d-schools you're interested in. It def not worth the 4k at a private school. You don't need anatomy or physiology to get you through the DAT, I did perfectly fine without those classes. As far as boosting your gpa, try micro, biochem, histology, genetics
