I didn't mean to come off that way. I thought some people might share the same opinion as I do regarding motivation.
I'm happy when I get a 12 or higher on a section, and moderately pleased by a 10 or 11. This was the first time I did an AAMC CBT and had a chance to see the estimated percentile ranges for 12, 11, and 10. It's nice that a 12 is ~90%, but I've been hoping to get a 13+ on the real thing. The fact that 13+ are reserved for probably 98+ percentile test takers is pretty discouraging to me because it indicates that very very few people actually get a 13 or higher. Obviously it's no secret that a 13+ is a great sectional score, but the fact that only 2-3% of test takers get it is even more discouraging to me.
I guess it's backwards to some people
