So this I am sure this is a common question, i just found this forum today and did some research on here but couldn't find exactly what i am looking for. I completely bombed high-school, i never took the sat or even planned on going to college. About 3 years later I realized i wanted to go to back to school. I was forced to go to Community college. I couldn't get in anywhere due to my HS grades. Anyway i have been at cc for a little while now and taken some basic fluff courses, english, full year of calculus and foreign language. This fall i was planning on starting the gen chem I-III, and bio I-III series. then trying to transfer to a pretty good 4 year. Someone told me i was out of luck for md schools since i started at cc and took alot of the pre reqs there. I have no choice, if i want to transfer i have to take these classes. Is this true the cc credits will hold me down? I looked at a few med schools and they say they accept them, but just because the accept them doesn't mean i will get in. Anyone in the same boat i am? Or have any advice? I could try and transfer to a smaller liberal arts schools this winter in my city with the classes i have but who knows if i would get in. And that schools isnt ranked nearly as high as the 4 year i would like to go to. And i dont really want to go there at all. Thanks
