A year and a half ago I received orders to Ft. Sam Houston and bought a house in San Antonio, Texas near Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). I thought I'd be here for several years. Unfortunately, I'll be moving out of state in June. I'm looking for suggestions on websites, etc where I can post the house for sale by owner to reach Military or Medical moving to San Antonio (for residency, AMEDD school, new staff, etc) and possibly in the market for a house near BAMC. I'm trying to save anywhere possible because we haven't been in the house long enough to build equity, the market is bad for sellers, and refinancing would actually raise my mortgage! I only know of the AHRN site and the classifieds on SDN. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I hate to sell but I really doubt I could rent the house for enough to cover the mortgage. I did a 30 yr fixed, 20/80 split, so we didn't pay PMI, with 0 down.
