Hi everyone,

Has anyone interviewed at U Conn MD/PhD? Do you remember what time the interview day finished? I'm trying to arrange transportation.

Hey isidella,

how was the interview? Any thoughts or advice?

The interview was awesome. I cannot make too many recommendations since we may get different interviewers. I had a total of 6 forty minute interviews. By the last one, I was a bit tired, so eat your wheaties that morning.

I did not get one ethics based questions. It was all about my research interests and my personal experiences. I did get, "Where do you see yourself in 20 years?" I guess its not the standard 10 for just MD folks, since we are preparing to spend the rest of my life is school.

Once I got there, I found out that the program is an average of 8 years (S.D. of 6 months). They say 7 in the website, but 8 is more common.

By they way, did you take a flight out? Do you think I could make a 6:10pm flight with traffic?

The trip to bradley is about 30 minutes away, and traffic to that airport is no joke, especially at that time of day. They may be able to get you out of the interview by 4:30 if they know you are trying to make a flight. Call the admissions office today to ask what they think. I shyed away from that 6:10 flight and took the 7:10 flight the next morning. I had some time to cat around west hartford with some cool kids!
