especially antibiotic coverage and whatnot. i used to memorize charts and redraw them.

i see the medical review books actually give some.

we got a work email about pneumonic tubes one day - we have pneumatic tubes.

it made me giggle even if no one else got it.

DOPAMINE RASH
D=Discoid lupus
O=oral ulcers
P=photosensitivity
A=arthritis (hands,wrists,knees)
M=malar rash
I=immunologic criteria =anti-Smith, anti-ds-DNA, anti-Ro, anti-La
N=neurologic changes
E=incr. ESR (tho not a criteria)

R=renal dz
A=ANA+
S-serositis (pleurisy, pericarditis)
Hematologic dz=hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia

P - Peptic Ulcer Disease
R - Retinopathy
E - Endocrine disorders
D - Diabetes (hyperglycemia)
N - Neurological disorders
I - Immunosuppression
S - Sodium retention
O - Osteoporosis
N - Nausea, not sleeping
E - Edema, excess hair growth

* you can use it as a template for pretty much all the glucocorticoids

but it's different for mineral corticoids

Tonic-clonic seizures
Cardiac
Anticholinergic

Morphine side effects

Myosis
Orthostatic Hypotension
Respiratory depression
Pneumonia (aspiration)

Infrequency (constipation, urinary retention)

Serotonin Syndrome causes HARM
