I attended my 1st neurological case conference, as a new NP extern in the neurological dept of a hospital. I did well in all my neurophysio, neurobio, and NP courses, but still did not understand maybe 1/2 of the neurologists' vocabulary. I know google is my friend, but what other resources have psychologists used to understand the lingo/vocab of neurological disorders? Are medical terms something NPs pick up over time? I'd like to get the most out of these didactics! Thanks much.
