AMSA National would like to introduce our newest Interest Group. The
creation of the Osteopathic Medicine Interest Group (OMIG) is intended
to
provide a forum for discussing osteopathy. OMIG will serve as a
community
of students with a shared interest who enter into dialogue and shared
education through postings on the IG's listserve, shared reading
materials,
new friendships and later through speakers at AMSA's National
Convention. In
addition, OMIG will serve as a resource for osteopathic and allopathic
and
student members contemplating training in osteopathy or interested in
the
philosophy and practice of osteopathic manipulation.
