there are new guide line of antibiotic prophylaxis for dental treatment published by AHA on April 2007. a little bit difference from previous guide line.

during part 2 exam, which one should i follow? new one or the old one in deck?

I'd go with the old recommendations. It seems like the Boards take a while to assimilate current updates into their question bank...based on all the old exams n' such. I wonder if the NDBE website has any information on this...might wanna check it out. Good luck!

ndbe will include in the exams the new aha recommendation not the old one, it's mentioned in their site.. i remember seeing it

We( those who will appear the part 2 in 2007) dont have to worry about the AHA recommendations because it will not be included in the 2007 exams. It will effect from 2008 exams. You can check the news on the ADA website. I saw it yesterday.
