I am having a really hard time trying to answer the questions for VMCAS's new style of the personal statement for this upcoming cycle. I have found that I am using for research and knowledge that I have about the subject rather than sharing information about myself and why I want to be in this field like I did when we could write one 5000 character essay. Anyone have a sample personal statement from the last cycle that I could look at and see if I am answering these questions correctly?!?!

There really isn't a "correct" way to answer the questions. The point of the essays is for them to see how you interpreted the question, your thought process, etc. The prompts are written such that you should be able to talk about yourself, your experiences, and your values without them flat out asking for those things.

ETA: I did not have to do much research to respond to the prompts. I reflected upon my own professional and life experiences to illustrate my answers.
